My name is Agnès Chetaille. I have always been interested in change and what makes it possible – for individuals, for cultures and for societies. This passion for transformation led me to become an activist in queer feminist collectives, and a social scientist working on social movements and politics of gender, sexuality and location.
In 2019, I discovered somatics in my own psychotherapy. It felt like a revolution: connecting to my bodily experience showed me that change was always already trying to happen, and taught me how to open up to it. It didn't solve all my problems – but completely removed the feeling of being stuck.
I started training as a somatic practitioner in 2021. Sharing someone's process into transformation is always an extraordinary experience. I bring all of my attention, presence and creativity, as well as my love for slowness, deep connection, and non-judgmental listening. I feel honored to support people in this way and am continuously grateful for what I do.
I am in my own process – individually as a
healing mind-body, professionally as a practitioner, and politically as a
member of our challenging shared world. To me, "individual
healing" doesn't make much sense – we grow by (re)connecting with ourselves and
with each other in the same movement.
I speak French, English, and some Polish. The pronouns I use are she/her
and they/them. I welcome questions and conversations about my own
positionality at any stage of the process.

I have been working with clients since 2022 and have given almost 800 sessions to more than 50 clients.
I am committed to continuous training and regular intervision and supervision. I insist on working in a trauma-informed way, and ethics are very important to me.
In addition to my main professional trainings, I am trying to stay curious and look for diverse sources of inspiration and nourishment for my practice. I completed introductory courses in Somatic Experiencing (CeFort, Paris, 2021), Gestalt (IBG, Brussels, 2022), and Internal Family System (PESI, online, in progress). I also followed a Nervous System Study Group (Trauma Geek, 2024) and a course in politicized somatics called Unraveling Embodied White Supremacy (Third Space Somatics, 2024).
